Peter continues his interest and active involvement in academia where he is an accredited lecturer and examiner with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Ciarb). Peter is a member of the Ciarb Approved Faculty List (AFL) for the UK and Ireland. He has, and continues, to promote the Ireland Branch with presentations and lectures to students at 3rd level colleges including Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin, Institute of Public Administration and Technical University Dublin. Peter has and continues to write peer reviewed academic papers and articles on dispute resolution subjects, particularly on construction adjudication.

In addition, Peter is the Course Director for the Adjudication Decision Writing Course at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland. This intensive part time, post-graduate course is held on-line over four lectures, with three written assignments, designed to follow the process of a real adjudication. The course is completed with an examination, held over two consecutive weekends, where students complete a written decision on a comprehensive documents-based scenario.
